Unlimited Confetti and FX has a broad range of specialized equipment which can create atmospheric, scenic, and high energy effects. We are at home working in front of live audiences but are no strangers to working on film and screen projects. We can create wind, fog, bubbles, confetti, cryogenic, streamer, low fog and haze effects.

Regardless of what it’s made of, Confetti is generally considered to be small pieces of colorful material which can be launched, dropped, blown or tossed into the air. Confetti creates a fun energy to any event as it tumbles and falls to the ground. Unlimited Confetti and FX’s standard size rectangular confetti measures .75” x 2” (3⁄4” x 2”). We do have additional sizes and shapes available.

Confetti can be made of different materials.

• Tissue confetti is a flat (non reflective) tissue paper dyed to a desired color. Tissue confetti is lightweight and has superior hang time in the air when compared to metallic confetti. Tissue Confetti is the most commonly requested confetti we offer. Because confetti is dyed to be a certain color, certain chemicals can strip the dye off of the tissue paper and transfer that color to something else. Our tissue confetti is biodegradable and takes approximately as long as an oak
  leaf takes to break down.
• “Metallic” Confetti is a flexible clear polymer substrate coated in a material which makes it shiny and reflective. The substrate is then dyed to a desired color and cut to specification. Our standard metallic confetti measures .75” x 2”(3⁄4” x 2”). Metallic confetti is heavier than tissue confetti, which means that it has more mass and can be launched further. Our shiny and reflective confetti is available in every color of the rainbow and really stands out in bright lighting (natural or artificial). Because confetti is dyed to be a certain color, certain chemicals can strip the dye off of the substrate and transfer that color to something else. Metallic confetti is a great way to add sparkle to the sky at your next event.
• Water Soluble confetti dissolves rapidly when submerged and agitated in water. It’s ideal for use in grassy areas where it can easily be hosed down and cleanup would otherwise be challenging. Because it’s designed to dissolve it is only available in white. It is not recommended for use in the rain for obvious reasons.

Regardless of what they’re made of, Streamers are long strips or “ribbons” of colorful material that are rolled up into a coil, multiple coils or rolls are packaged into a sleeve. Specialized equipment uses compressed gas or compressed air in order to launch multiple rolls of streamers into the air. As the rolls of streamers travel through the air they create a wall or wave effect. Streamers are ideal for use when you need to create a nearly instant effect as they react at the press of a button and are quickly launched into the sky.

• “Metallic” streamers are made from a flexible clear polymer substrate coated in a material which makes them shiny and reflective. The substrate is then dyed to a desired color, rolled on a mandrill and cut to specification. Metallic streamers are heavier than tissue streamers, which means that they have more mass and can be launched further. Our metallic streamers are made from the same material as our metallic confetti and are available in every color of the rainbow. Because streamers are dyed to be a certain color, certain chemicals can strip the dye off of the substrate and transfer that color to something else. The shiny and reflective streamers really stand out in bright lighting (natural or artificial) and add sparkle to the sky. We do not recommend launching metallic streamers near power lines.
